About the Author

George Bannerman is the first born of a family of nine. He was born in 1963 into a poor family in a small village with hardly enough to make ends meet. Such a background of poverty had a permanent impact on George and made him very sensitive and sympathetic to the plight of the poor, vulnerable, orphans, street-children, homeless, widows and refugees.

He did his basic education and high school in Ghana.   He continued his education at Fanshawe College, in London, Ontario.

George Bannerman is Executive Director of Ministerial Development and Relief Programme, a Canadian Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). He is a philanthropist.
